So..this whole blogging thing is a lot harder than I anticipated.
First of all I'm not sure what to talk about. I have a lot on my mind always but I don't know where to begin. This is my third attempt at trying to blog. (BY THE WAY, who came up with that word- it sounds stupid in my opinion. Blog. Psh.)
Second of all, I'm starting to loose focus of the point of it. Is it journaling? Am I supposed to tell stories? Am I supposed to write articles on what I think of Kate Hagen or what I think of American Idol? (Which I don't watch anyways...)
Thirdly, do people really care what I have to say? I know there are certain people where I could care less on what their thoughts are-no offense- but people have a lot to talk about.
So. I'm at a standstill with my brain and my keyboard. Maybe my creative juices will start flowing at some point about something really interesting. Who knows.

There's always a first!
First word. First time walking. First time smiles. First time marriages, and hopefully last ones too. There are a lot of firsts in life and I have to say that this is my first time blogging.
What really inspired me was a movie - Julie and Julia. Although I am not cooking some ridiculous 500 recipes from Julia Child's recipe book, it inspired me to just write.
I journal and those certain things will remain quiet, but I was thinking that it might open up some doors. It might also get my creative juices flowing on the book I am trying to write and publish at some point "The Light at the End of the Tunnel: A Postpartum Survival Guide". Not sure on the title, but it might work. We'll see!
What is my blog going to be about you may ask? Hell if I know. I don't have a particular subject matter although I do think I will be most likely writing about my children (duh) and what it's like to be a mother, wife, and me.
I'm guessing people don't think motherhood is really a big deal, but it is.
There are so many new challenges--good and bad-- that come your way that you never thought you'd have to face.
Anyways, that's all for now.
Packing up to head to the beach...Which is by the way, the girls FIRST time.
